BRITNEY'S TELEPHONE LEAKS! HORDES OF BRITNEY FANS IMPLODE

Late last night, what many Britney Spears fans considered to the Holy Grail of Spears-related music was leaked online, the Lady GaGa penned 'Telephone' demo originally offered to her for use on her 'Circus' album but which was passed on and ended up on Lady GaGa's 'The Fame Monster'.

Whilst the original leak is more than a little scrappy -with parts not actually resembling Britney and with such a level of random vocoder that you'd think Darkchild kept nodding off at the mixing decks, causing him to land face first on the autotune button- the ever-faithful Britney fans have remastered the leak (which, by the way, was being offered for a STAGGERING 750 DOLLARS on a site which should know better) into something a little bit wonderful.

Below is the original leak and below THAT one is an example of a hardworking Britney fan's remastering. A further example of a cool little edit involves using the answerphone message from the 'Oops' album and putting it into the intro!
Original/NOT SO GOOD ACTUALLY

Remaster/ACTUALLY VERY GOOD!

It's a little unfair given the demo state of Britney's, but which do we think is better? GaGa's or Britney's?

Britney Cracks A Smile In New Candie's Ad - World Relieved

When the above photo from Britney's 2010 Candie's campaign surfaced in the middle of last month, the world simulteanously went 'cheer up love'. It's hard to tell whether The Britster was going for the moody pout or the constipated Aztec look in what looks to be (let's be honest here) a pretty awful printed dress. HOWEVER, we are proud/happy/relieved-that-we-wont-be-recommending-her-to-the-Samaritans-hotline to announce that at least part of the shoot features a happy and (more importantly) hairflick-y Britney Spears. And here's the proof.

Hurrah!

Britney hits the shops

The Circus is about to up and leave town for good in the next few days and Britney's making the most of her time Down Under by hitting the Aussie shops for a spot of retail therapy.

Britster evidentally had some change in her pocket, splashing out a reported 4618.45 dollars in just 45 minutes. Now for the creeper details! Britney reportedly bought clothes for her sons from the Jack and Milly clothing line as well as coats, cardigans, jeans and a 'party frock' for herself from lines such as DKNY, Cacheral, Armani and Camila and Mark. How they know this I do not know.
Her appearance at the Melbourne shopping strip provoked a mass word-of-mouth passing through Twitter and around 300 fans reportedly turned up to see her flashing the clash.

Britney's Single Collection booklet!

Here are some actually quite amazing scans/images from the booklet of Britney's Single Collection, due for release next week! The booklet for the standard edition contains images from each of the included tracks music videos, accompanied by facts and statistics and what appears to be a section of the lyrics. Quite good indeed. What I would have really loved is a mini comment from Britney about each track. Would've been a nice touch eh? MAKE ME A JIVE EXEC.

Britney's 3 CD single a no-show in the UK

Are you a UK Britney fan? Want to pick up a copy of her latest single '3' on physical CD single? (ask your grandparents young' un's...sad social commentary that) Well unfortunately, you won't be getting it this week on its scheduled release date as apparently the shipments haven't turned up!

According to fans looking to snap up a copy of the CD, bemused staff in UK music retailer HMV said that they were expecting the CD shipment to arrive to their stores for sale today but it never arrived! The song has yet to arrive on UK iTunes yet either, and as the video has yet to premiere on UK TV, we aren't expecting the song to be available any time soon! The staff however have said that if they receive the shipment it will go on sale next week or the week following.

Someone needs to get that video on the TV fast! The song is currently sitting on the B-List on Radio 1 (this is a good thing)

Wowza!

And here, courtesy of Britney fansite WorldofBritney, is the first look at the BritBrit's photoshoot with Elle magazine's December issue! Britney's done far too little photo-shoots during this campaign, it almost seems strange to see photos of her that aren't from that Mark Liddell shoot which has been used for practically everything except the album artwork!

She looks amazing, I'd like to think Photoshop didn't have TOO much of a hand in it but either way it's still a stunning image of her!

REPEAT UPDATE: The image is fake! CARRY ON ABOUT YOUR DAILY BUSINESS.

Lily writes a for song for Britney

According to various Lily Allen and Britney Spears fansites, Lily has told Elle magazine's November issue that she has penned a track for Britney's next project! WOOP!

align="center">
She has reportedly (let's wait for the issue before we print our 'Lily + Britney 4eva' T-shirts eh?) been quoted as saying...

“I Love her, she's the Queen of Pop. I wrote a song for her next album... But I can't say more.”

Exciting if true! If only for the fact that Britney's already thinking about a folloup to 2008's 'Circus' Please leave any references to your child's oral hygiene at the door this time BJS!

A Few Details of Britney's '3' video shoot

Whilst we're all sat twiddling our thumbs waiting for the promo for Britney's number one single '3', stylist GK Reid who worked on the shoot revealed a few little details about Britney's behaviour on set. But don't worry ya'll it's all good! No picking up dog turd with designer dresses!

Of Britney on the set he said: 'She exhibited amazing energy and was in great shape - her body looked better than it has in years - she munched on sushi instead of junk food.'

And apparently it was a blue moon that night! 'She even sang live with the words. She worked really hard and was really sweet to all the dancers.'

We want this video!

So...when's the 3 music video out?

*twiddles thumbs*

Okay, it's no secret that '3' has performed very nicely for Britney Jean in the past week, garnering her a third shiny number one. However, as the song has so far performed excellently on just word of mouth, radio play and a slightly dodgy single cover, it's high time that the 'B team' break out the big guns in the form of the music video!

A lot of fans thought that today was the date of the premiere due to a press release which has reportedly been confirmed as a fake, leading to ever chirpy Britney informant 'Brittanica' posting the following...

'LOL @ fans telling me to 'WAKE UP BITCH!' I'm up. :) The '3' video premiere date has not been announced, FYI! xx'

Kay 'Tannica but hurry up! The song needs promo to keep it at the top and we all know this is all we're getting!

Snippet of Britney's 3 remix b-side!

The first official remix to have been confirmed for Britney's current number 1 hit '3' (these numbers are going to catch me out one day!) is the 'Mike Rizzo Groove Police Remix' *ahem*

It will be featured as the b-side to '3' on the deluxe box set version of Britney's Singles Collection and will therefore be included on both the digital and physical singles when they are eventually released later in the month!

And here is a clip of what you can expect from the remix courtesy of Mike Rizzo's website! Sounds pretty hot! This surely must be a hard track to remix!

Britney's '3' scaling the Mediabase chart!

Britney's new single '3' -currently sitting comfortably on top of the US Billboard chart having scored her her third number one- is showing no signs of slowing down on both radio and iTunes in the USA!

The track has leapt from the mid twenties to being at number 17 on US radio spin tracking chart Mediabase in the past few days following the song hitting number 1 and the song is maintaining it's position at the pinnacle of the iTunes overall Top Songs chart.

The song is said to currently be only 60 spins away from skipping straight to the 13 position so with the song steadily rising on the radio -which factors into a songs overall chart position on American charts- and Britney still managing to fend off competition from acts like Miley Cyrus, not to mention next weeks (hopeful) video release, could B see herself in command of the Billboard Hot 100 for a second week!?

We hope so!

Dont worry! Britney isn't dead!

Epic court document fail! Newly released documents obtained by TMZ relating to the conservatorship that Britney is currently placed under have claimed that Britney is in fact 'Deceased'!

Britney's lawyer is said to be 'quickly refiling the papers'

She better be!

Britney Roundup!

Geez you wait a week for any Britney related news to slip through Jive's massive cracks *ahem* and then it all comes at once, while your sleeping at that!

OKAY so first things first...

Britney is OFFICIALLY number one on the US Billboard chart this week with '3'. As previously reported here, the track sold over 255,000 copies of the song in the US this week, giving BritBrit her third number one in the US! About time she got some too, considering her only others were '...Hit Me Baby' and 'Womanizer'!

Britney celebrated with the following tweets:

I want to thank my fans for making ‘3’ the # 1 song on the Billboard Hot 100. I am truly blessed with the greatest fans in the world.'

and...

I am so happy y’all love it because I do this all for you. I can’t wait till you see the video! -Britney

Sweet!

Secondly, the standard edition of the singles collection has been bumped up two weeks in the release schedule in the US and will be released on November 10th to avoid a crushing from the Adam Lambert, Susan Boyle, Rihanna and the 1001 other acts who seem to be releasing an album on November 24th!

Oh and thirdly...

Jive released these shots of the upcoming 3 music video, revealing a simplistic black and white styling with sexy outfits a la Ciara's 'Love.Sex.Magic' (same director) and even ANOTHER plug for Britney's perfume line (spot it in the last photo?) Looking good B!

Britney's '3' heading for number one?

According to a lot of excited Britney fans, Spears' latest single '3' -taken from the upcoming 'Singles Collection'- is heading for number one in the USA based on recently released data!

This weeks US 'Billboard Hot Digital Songs' chart has been unveiled today, revealing that Britney sold a total of *drumroll* 254,640 copies of '3' this week! Her nearest competition is Miley Cyrus' 'Party In The USA' which sold 163276 and claimed the number two spot on the Hot Digital Tracks chart! Heres the Top 10 data in the full statfans:

BILLBOARD HOT DIGITAL SONGS - TOP 10

-- 1 SPEARS*BRITNEY 3 (254640)
2 CYRUS*MILEY PARTY IN THE U.S.A. (163276)
3 DERULO*JASON WHATCHA SAY (152050)

9 BLACK EYED PEAS I GOTTA FEELING (106027)
10 IYAZ REPLAY (105564)

According to the fans, this means Britney will easily score her THIRD Billboard number one of her career with the track. How appropriate!

If she DOES hit numero uno, this will be an amazing feat as it's going on the back of absolutely NO promo. Not even a video -yet! Nicely done Ms. Spears!

Britney's Singles Collection CD/DVD cover released!

The cover art for the CD/DVD version of the upcoming Britney Spears Singles Collection has been released and it looks...exactly like the CD version but with a distinctly different colour scheme...

(okay well it's purple instead of black)

In the overall Jive/Britney art scheme scale it doesn't rank as a full 'Blackout' turdfest but it's certainly no 'Britney'!

The CD will gather Britney's greatest hits of the past ten years on one disc, from '...Baby One More Time' to 'Oops...' to 'Gimme More' to 'Radar' (good news for anyone who doesn't already own this hard to obtain track - I jest!) and includes a selection of 15 of her videos!

Hmm. Still rather own 'My Prerogative: Greatest Hits' than this to be honest!

New Danja demo for Britney Spears

FIRST THINGS FIRST! Stop hyperventilating, it isn't Britney singing the track HOWEVER the source of this alleged demo is the same one which provided the Ravaugn demo for Madonna's 'Revolver' some months ago.

The track, entitled 'Monster' (seems to be the in thing right now doesn't it?) was reportedly intended for Britney to record and was apparently produced by Danja. Now, normally I'm very dubious when it comes to this sort of 'demo', usually it ends up that some miscellaneous singer is out looking for exposure by claiming to be somebody else (Stand up, Eva Simons!) however given that the source is apparently reliable and that I could totally hear Britney singing this track I think this track deserves a listen.

If this track IS legitimate and is some sort of 'Circus' reject (we'll keep you updated if anything emerges) I'd say it should've definately made the album, if only so we could hear Britney crack out the British accent for the 'I'm a beast, I'm a monster' backing vocals during the chorus!

Britney for Global Peace Show?

Now we all know that Ms. Spears is all for peace, love and 'rocking out with our cocks out' but could Britney Jean be making an appearance at the Global Harmony Concert on April 17 2010!?

According to both the orginizations twitter profile and official website, the following artists will be in attendance for part of the massive concert;

Backstreet Boys, Beyonce, Diddy, Coldplay, Jay Z
Goo Goo Dolls, DJ Tiesto, Justin Timberlake
Rob Thomas, Wyclef, Mary J Blige, Chris Brown
Seal, The Dream, Aerosmith, Lady GaGa, Usher
Prince, Ne-yo, Maroon 5, Kanye West, Green Day
Marc Anthony, JLO, Juanez, Depeche Mode
Ciara, Nickelback, Daughtry, Britney Spears
Black Eyed Peas, Taylor Swift, Kelly Clarkson
Andrea Bocelli, Kenny Chesney, Alicia Keyes
Red Hot Chili Peppers, Snow Patrol, Placido Domingo
Rascal Flatts, Jason Mraz, Franz Ferdinand, Katy Perry
Duffy, Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera, Jacksons, Gwen Stefani,
Lang Lang.

WHAT A LINEUP! However, it's been speculated that these are the artists who have been simply issued with a 'verbal invitation' to show up and perform, so we aren't expecting the entire roster to show up!

And if Britney DOES show up, she'll have to remember that pesky lipsynching law brought into effect in China last year...it's illegal y'all! We'll let you know more if this is further confirmed/denied!
